Khela Tech is the AI-first arm of the Khela network, run by Amir Khela — a Toronto-based entrepreneur, pharmacist, and operator who got into AI automation the hard way: by needing it to run his own businesses.
The origin story
Running five businesses without burning out meant one thing: the humans had to do the high-leverage work, and everything else had to run itself. Between 2024 and 2026, what started as a few Python scripts turned into 150+ background jobs, 3 live voice agents, and an autonomous email triage system — all holding up real operations at Bird Sitting Toronto, Cloud Pharmacy, and a handful of local trade businesses.
Why Khela Tech is separate from CWD
Canadian Website Designs (also in the family) builds websites, runs SEO, and handles paid ads. That's a different discipline with a different team. Khela Tech is the specialized AI/automation arm — not a competing agency, just the other half of the toolkit. If you need both, you get both without handoffs.
